The Engineering Behind a Proper Conversion

Load Distribution. A queen bed with a proper mattress weighs 80 to 100 kilograms. Add a sofa frame, a desk surface, and storage cabinetry, and the total load on the wall fixing becomes significant. We calculate the total load including dynamic forces — the bed moving, someone sitting on the sofa, the desk being leaned on — and specify wall fixings accordingly.
